I decided I needed to make some for myself so I used lavender essential oils. Lavender is perfect for stress reduction and ultimate relaxation. The smell is so mellow and relaxing.
How to Make Bath Bombs Using Lavender
These ingredients make one bath bomb (5 oz). Just double up accordingly if you want to make more.
- 1 oz Epsom salt
- 1/2 teaspoon water
- 2 oz baking soda
- 1 oz citric acid
- dried lavender or other herbs/flowers
- 23 drops lavender essential oil
- 3 teaspoons olive oil
- round mold (to shape the bath bomb)
- wax paper
- paper towels
Mix the Epsom salt, baking soda, citric acid, dried lavender and water together. Add the essential oil and olive oil and mix well.
Once your mixture is ready, scoop out and fill the mold. Let it sit for 24 hours to dry then remove from mold.
